Collect the accessories

After checking in, the reception will provide you with the machine’s external battery and remote. The shuttlecock holder, already filled with shuttlecocks, will be placed on top of the machine, ready for use.

Refer to the "Setting up machine" step for instructions on how to connect the battery and remote to the machine.

Find the machine on the court

You’ll find the machine stationed at its designated spot on the court. If you’re unsure of its location, simply ask the reception to guide you. This designated spot is where you’ll need to both pick up and return the machine before and after your session.

To save time, you can bring machine near to your booked court so you can start on time.

Machine user manual

A printed version of the machine user manual is available on the wall near the machine’s designated spot. Feel free to take a copy for your reference during the session. The manual is also available in PDF format. Scroll down to the machine remote guide section on this page to find the download link.

Tripod

The tripod is equipped with three wheels, allowing the machine to move freely across the sports facility. It also includes an adjustable lever that enables the machine to raise or lower to your preferred height for trainin

Tripod wheel brake

The tripod is equipped with wheel brakes to keep the machine securely in place. If the machine isn’t moving, check that the brakes are not engaged. To release the brake, simply lift the brake hook.

Serving machine

The serving machine is powered by an intelligent chip controlled via a remote, allowing full-court play. It operates with serving wheels that launch shuttlecocks, while the machine’s front plate adjusts both horizontally and vertically to target various spots on the court for precise training.

Shuttlecock holder

The shuttlecock holder has 8 pockets, with a total capacity of up to 180 shuttles, enabling longer practice sessions. It supports both feather and plastic shuttlecocks. For training, RSL D82 shuttles (speed 77) are provided for optimal performance.

Shuttlecocks types support

The machine is compatible with both feather and plastic shuttles. For training, we provide RSL 82 training shuttles. If you prefer to train with plastic shuttles, feel free to bring your own. Please note that worn-out shuttles may get stuck in the machine, so we recommend removing them from use during your session.

Drag the machine

Grip the tripod firmly and carefully wheel the machine to your assigned court. Pay attention to tight spaces between courts or along the sidelines.

For safer transport, you can remove the shuttlecock holder before moving the machine.

Machine position on the court

The optimal spot for the machine is at the center of the court, near the front line. From this position, you can easily adjust the speed for both front and backcourt shots.

If the machine is launching shuttles outside the court boundaries, simply rotate it horizontally to adjust the direction.

Connect the machine battery

Place the battery in the designated battery holder and connect the battery wire to the machine’s DC wire, which hangs from the machine. Align the connectors with a slight twist to ensure they fit properly, then tighten the screw to secure the connection.

If the machine doesn't start, the battery may not be charged. Simply ask the reception desk for a fully charged battery.

Attach or detach shuttlecock holder

Attaching and detaching the shuttlecock holder is simple. To detach, just lift it off the machine. To reattach, place it back on the shaft and give it a slight twist to ensure it’s securely seated.

Turn on the machine

At the back of the machine, locate the power button. Simply switch it on to activate the machine.

When the machine starts, it performs a routine check to ensure all functions are working properly. This process takes about 30 seconds, and a confirmation beep will indicate that the machine is ready for use.

Turn on the remote

Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to activate the remote control.

The first mode available is Fixed mode. From there, you can switch to other gameplay modes and begin customizing your gameplay options.

Enter into combination gameplay

Press the combination button on the remote to enter this mode, which offers predefined gameplay options for your session.

Press the button repeatedly to cycle through the combination gameplay options. In each game mode, you can make necessary changes. To start the that specific game, press the start button.

Dots display

The four dots indicate the shuttle landing spots. That means, you'll be playing two shots to the front court (left and right) and two shots to the back court (left and right). The top two dots represent the front court, while the bottom two dots represent the back court.

Gameplay settings

For the combination mode, all available settings are visible in the remote display area. Mainly you can adjust frequency, shuttle drop quantity, machine height, front and back court speed.

To under settings, see the gameplay settings guide.

Four corners game demonstration

This is the demonstration of the four corners gameplay. To fine-tune the horizontal angles, adjust the machine’s position slightly to the left or right to achieve precise shuttlecock landing spots.

Gameplay settings options

With machine predefined programs or your own custom programs, you can adjust various options such as front and backcourt speed, machine height, ball quantity, frequency, as well as vertical and horizontal angles.

Front court speed

The "Front court speed" buttons allow you to control the shuttle's landing distance between the net and the middle court. To make the shuttle drop closer to the net, set the speed to 01. For a landing farther from the net, up to mid-court, adjust the setting between 2 and 5.

Back court speed

The "Back Court Speed" buttons let you control the shuttle's landing distance between mid-court and the backcourt. To make the shuttle land at the far end of the court, set the speed to 5. For landings between mid-court and backcourt, adjust the setting between 1 and 4.

Frequency high or low

The button "Frequency +" and "Frequency -" allows you to adjust the gameplay speed. A higher number means the machine will throw shuttles more frequently, increasing the challenge. Lower the number for a more balanced pace during the game.

Shuttle drops qty

The "Ball qty set" button lets you choose how many shuttles the machine will drop at each spot. For example, if you're playing four corners in combination mode and set the ball quantity to 3, the machine will throw 3 shuttles to each spot before moving to the next one.

In a real game scenario, this simulates situations where you're challenged to play 1-2 net shots before your opponent or when you decide to change your strategy.

Machine up/down

The "Up/Down" button lets you adjust the machine's height. On the display screen, number 01 indicates the machine is lowering, while number 02 shows it is raising.

Machine height can only be adjusted while the machine is in start mode. Height adjustment is not possible when the machine is in pause mode.

Adjusting the machine height can be useful in different modes. For example, in Fixed mode, you can raise the machine height and lower the vertical angle to practice defending against steep smashes.

Refill the shuttle holder and place it securely on top of the machine, so the next user can start their session with a full set of shuttles.

Drop off the machine

Return the machine to its designated drop-off spot. Disconnect the battery from the DC charger, and make sure you have both the remote control and the battery before heading back to the reception desk.

Return machine accessories

Hand the battery and remote control back to the reception desk staff when your session is complete.

Check out your entry

Record your checkout time in the Power Strike Pro sheet to finalize your session.

Enter into horizontal gameplay

Press the horizontal button on the remote to access horizontal gameplay options.

Repeatedly press the button to cycle through the predefined games. Once you've selected a game, press the start button to begin.

Horizontal gameplay demonstration

This is a demonstration of several horizontal gameplay modes. You can also customize the settings for each mode to suit your preferences.

  • To practice net returns or net to third court clears, select the front spots game.
  • To work on lifts or net drops, choose the mid spots game.
  • To improve backcourt clears or backcourt net drops, opt for the back spots game.

Enter into the random mode

Press the random/program button on the remote control to enter random mode. You’ll start in random mode by default. All dots will appear on the remote, indicating that the machine will randomize shot placement, allowing you to practice on all sides with both high and low shots.

With random mode you can practice your reaction time in high-pressure situations.

Enter into cross loop gameplay

Press the cross loop button on the remote to access this gameplay mode. It offers two configurations: front right to back left, and front left to back right. This mode allows you to practice moving diagonally across the court, transitioning smoothly from front to back and back to front.

How to set your own custom programs

Press the Random/Program button, then press it again to view the first custom program. There are a total of 3 customizable programs available.

To customize a program, select the desired program and hold the Program button for a few seconds. When the black spot starts blinking in the display area, you can begin customizing the spots.

Select & move spot
